Apologies

I am so sorry for having all but ditched this blog recently! I just wanted to throw a quick apology to anyone who might have noticed the lack of posts.

My reason for disappearing from this blog is that I’ve been handed a huge workload in school, and am getting close to graduating. This means that I’ve got to start focusing on updating blogs and websites that will serve me as an illustrator. Keeping things updated combined with school and work has sadly allowed this blog to slip my mind.

That said, I don’t know where this blog will go in the near future. I might start posting again, though there are a whole lot of Southern California centered blogs around that are at a much higher quality than this one. We’ll see!

In the meantime, I do have two blogs running on here (or about to start running).

theillustratorshandbook.tumblr.com - for those of us who are artistically inclined, it’s a blog that is meant to help inspire and aid artists with reference material, tutorials, and interesting illustrator spotlights. It’s open to submissions and is meant to one day be interactive. So if you’re into that kind of stuff, why not head on over?

blogofkellyjohnson.tumblr.com - this is my illustration/sketchblog where I’ll be posting all of my work and roughs, as well as imagery, music, etc. that inspires me. Hopefully I’ll get it up and running pretty regularly in the next few days.

Thank you guys, who are following me, for sticking around (or if you just forgot you followed me, that’s cool too haha). I don’t know the future of this blog, but I just have to say it’s been awesome chatting with some of you on and off, you really are cool people.
